The schedule for BTS’S second all English single “Butter” has been released!
The month of May is jam packed starting from 1st. BTS really is going out of their way to keep the anticipation for the release of their upcoming single. By the time 21st May comes along, fans will have been waiting with bated breath and be excited for the actual date the song drops! According to this schedule, starting with the first concept clip on May 2nd, four concept clips will be released sequentially, one every day on the 4th to 6th. The first teaser photo on May 10th and 12-14th, the second teaser photo on the 17th, and “Butter” official music video teaser on the 19th are prepared. And on May 21st, the long-awaited single and official music video for “Butter” will be released to the world at the same time at 1 pm.

Hyundai released their campaign with BTS for Earth day with the tag line “For tomorrow, we won’t wait” Today they have released Suga and Jin’s version in the ad campaign with the caption “Going back to pre-pandemic life is not enough. We want our positive energy to take us beyond” The clip shows Suga and Jin watering plants then goes to shots of Suga playing on hi piano with Jin singing and dancing along.
BTS’ V recently posted an audio clip of his unreleased song and renewed hope for possible mixtape from the vocalist. Today he posted both on Twitter and on Weverse with a simple emoji and a side profile from his Map Of The Soul ON:E photobook concept photo, and bam! ‘Taetae’ is trending in the Entertainment section in the US!”TAETAE” is also currently trending at #8 in India with more than 31K tweets. The #2 on KPOP TRENDS in PHILIPPINES IS “TAETAE.” “KIM TAEHYUNG” is currently trending at #2 in Twipple Japan together with related keywords which are “Beryllium”, “Taehyung-kun”, “TaeTae’s profile”, “Weverse”, “cute”
TIME Magazine announced this Year’s 100 Most Influential Companies. The list revealed on 27th April is divided into five categories, Pioneers, Leaders, Innovators, Titans and Disruptors. Among giant names like Twitter, NBA, NIKE, Samsung, Disney, Netflix, Spotify, Tesla inc., Mastercard and many more. Entertainment agency HYBE made the list under “PIONEERS” listed together with other companies like, Roblox, Red Power Bikes, Flutterwave, Bumble, Draktrace, Tilray, TerraCycle, Oatly, Strava, Beyond Meat, Klutch Sports Group, Headspace, Rothy’s, Savage X Fenty and Hello Sunshine
BTS Tops This Week’s Billboard Japan’s “HOT ALBUMS”
The Billboard Japan Hot 100 is a record chart in Japan compiled by Billboard Japan and Hanshin Contents Link ever since February 2008. The chart is updated every Wednesday at billboard-Japan.com (JST) and every Thursday at billboard.com (UTC). The chart combines CD single sales data from SoundScan Japan, tracking sales at physical stores across Japan, and radio airplay figures from Japan’s 32 AM and FM radio stations.
Sales from online stores, physical music stores (such as Recochoku and mora), as well as sales from iTunes Japan. Billboard Japan Hot 100 also added two additional factors: tweets relating to songs from Twitter data collected by NTT DATA, as well as data sourced from Gracenote on the number of times a CDs has been registered as being inserted into a computer.
The chart also includes both on-demand streams and YouTube views, and karaoke plays in its formula. Sales from digital stores nationwide, alongside streaming services with Apple Music, Awa and Line Music, are also recognised as points (similar to album-equivalent sales).

Kmedia reported that HYBE will reorganize its corporate structure to maximize efficiency and increase synergy in key business sectors. HYBE announced at its board meeting that the company will establish BigHit Music as a separate entity. HYBE will own 100% of BigHit Music. As such, the next HYBE shareholders’ meeting will be May 14. During the meeting, shareholders will be voting on 2 measures: 1 – the approval of the separation of BigHit Music 2 – the approval of the appointment of Scott Samuel (Scooter) Braun onto the board of directors
BTS SUGA’ “Daechwita” surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, thus he becomes the first Korean soloist to have 4 songs surpass 100M streams under 3 different monikers: SUGA, AGUST D and BTS. 2 of the song’s are collaborations, one is a solo project while the other is a solo song under BTS.
BTS’ Jimin became the first Korean solo act to have a combined of 500M streams on Spotify with just 4 tracks. Jimin achieves this feat in 1,659 days with “Lie,” “Serendipity” Intro and Full Length, and “Filter.” He is also the Most Streamed BTS member under BTS’ discography.

The traditional Korean outfit that BTS Jimin wore during their opening stage for “BTS Week” special on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that aired in September has been up for auction, with the bidding price beginning at 5 million won (US$4,476). Jimin appeared in the “hanbok,” traditional Korean attire, designed by Kim Rieul. Myart Auction, which specializes in antique artworks, said the upcoming auction will take place virtually from April 22 to 29. A preview of the artworks up for auction will be available through both in-person and online channels.
