BTS’ “BE” was BTS’ fifth album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200, making BTS the fastest group to earn five chart-topping albums in the United States since the Beatles. BTS also became the only act besides Taylor Swift to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts simultaneously.

BTS’ “BE” Album Remains at #1 On This Week’s Billboard World Album Chart

‘BE’ album remains at #1 on the World Albums chart for a 16th week after being on the chart for 17 weeks!

“BE” is BTS’ fifth to debut at number one on the Billboard 200, making BTS the fastest group to earn five chart-topping albums in the United States since the Beatles. BTS also became the only act besides Taylor Swift to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts simultaneously. The album also topped charts in Canada, Denmark, Japan, Lithuania, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, the Republic of Ireland, South Korea, and the Walloon region of Belgium; it peaked within the top ten of the charts in 14 countries, including Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

BTS’ “Blue & Grey” Single Has Now Sold Over 200,000 Units In the US

Blue & Grey is BTS’ single from their latest album “BE” which was written by V is a song about feelings of loneliness and he explained during their MTV Unplugged that the blue part is representing feeling down while the grey part is them missing their fans ARMY. Blue & Grey debuted in the Billboard Hot 100 and is one of the songs from the album that is performing really well on music charts. The song has sold over 200,000 units in the US which just shows how much of a great impact the song has and it is beloved worldwide

BTS’ “Map Of The Soul: 7” and “BE” Albums Take Top Positions as Best Selling Albums of 2020 On the First Ever IFPI Global Album All Format Chart

BTS’ “Map of the Soul: 7” album is the first-ever winner of IFPI’s newly-launched Global Album All Format Chart after a countdown of the top ten biggest albums globally. The Grammy nominees’ latest album “BE (Deluxe Edition)” took the fourth position on the charts. BTS was the only act with multiple albums in the top ten with “Map of the Soul: 7” taking #1 and “BE” as #4 best selling album of 2020 globally. IFPI represents the recorded music industry worldwide. The chart celebrates the best-selling albums of the year across all consumption formats, spanning physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming platforms together with IFPI’s existing global awards.

BTS’ “BE” Album Returns To No. 1 On Billboard’s World Albums Chart This Week

BTS’ “BE” album returned to n.1 on Billboard’s World Albums Chart in its 11th week on the chart. “BE” is BTS’ fifth Korean-language (ninth overall) studio album. It was released on November 20, 2020, nine months after Map of the Soul: 7 (2020). According to BTS, the album was created in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, inspired by the thoughts and feelings the band experienced during the conception of the project.  BTS members contributed to various aspects of the album including songwriting, development, production, visual aspects, and direction. Be touches upon themes of comfort, loneliness, anxiety, depression, frustration, restlessness, sadness, hope, connection, and joy.
