BTS’ “Dynamite” maintains its No. 1 position on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart for an 18th week with 37,600 copies sold . As a result the song breaks the all-time record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 on the chart which was previously held by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber.
“Dynamite” was the best-performing song of September and October 2020 in South Korea, based on digital sales, streaming, and background music (instrumental track) downloads. BTS have been dominating the charts since they debuted and have shown that doing what you love with hard work ends with amazing results. 2020 was a year that many people would love to forget as it was a harsh year that made things that seemed odd to be the new normal. Social distancing meant that people had no physical contact with their loved ones, which was hard because as humans, the physical touch is very crucial. Being cooped up in the house meant that one could not go out for social gatherings which meant no more concerts.
