BTS’ “Dynamite” Performance at Lotte Concert Officially Ends The Historical Era After 30+ Outstanding Performances! Is ARMY Ready?

It feels like we are coming to the end of an era that has changed the world beyond what people think or feel. BTS performing “Dynamite” during the Lotte Duty Free concert felt like being in a 2 hour long BTS live concert and you know the last song is being sang and that will be IT. The concert will be over, at that moment you start experiencing what is known as ‘after concert depression‘ where you wonder, “what now?” ” what do I do with my life now?”

That is usually the feeling after a BTS concert ends, whether you watch it live at a venue or online, the feelings is the same, that bit of emptiness, until another concert is announced and you start excitedly getting ready for your next serotonin boost that is a BTS concert.

With “Dynamite” we were able to experience such an amazing historical phenomenon that was the hit song. “Dynamite” hit hard from day one, over 3 million concurrent viewers upon release, 101.1Million views in 24 hours on YouTube, first grammy nomination, first Billboard Hot 100 at #1 for 3 weeks! The list is endless, read all its achivements at only 7 months old then.

We have had over 30 performances, all so magical and different in their own way from the fashion and style, stages and sets designs to locations… BTS recreated James Corden’s show and the Grammy stage in their hometown in South Korea, just to perform “Dynamite”.

You never heard the same sound or watched the same choreo, there was always something new, fresh, exciting and mind blowing with each “Dynamite” live performance!

“Dynamite” era was honestly Pure Magic, Pure Bliss, Pure Therapy and its honestly sad to see it go. Not that it is going to disappear but now something new is coming that looks to be coming for “Dynamite’s” crown.

The unfortunate part of saying temporary goodbye to “Dynamite” is that none of the 30+ performances of “Dynamite” were ever sung in front of ARMY.

This “Dynamite” era was truly magical in itself as it has been an amazingly sensational era that brought us another phase of BTS’ journey in music. The era came at a time when the world needed to be lit up like dynamite and uplift our moods during the dark times that befell us. BTS’ Jin, SUGA, RM, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook produced a total masterpiece that conquered the world, shattered norms, beliefs and brought the world closer regardless of location, time, race, region, gender or even age.
