BTS’S “Spring Day” surpassed 400 million views on YouTube with 7.6 million likes and 2 million comments.
BTS released “Spring Day” as part of their album “You Never Alone” in 201. “Spring Day has won several Awards: Golden Disc Award Song Division, Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Music Video and was nominated for the Golden Disc Award Song Division and Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Music Video.
“Spring Day” is BTS’ single from their 2017 album “You Never Walk Alone” it was a repackage of their second Korean-language studio album, Wings (2016). The song was written by “Hitman” Bang, RM, Suga, Adora, Arlissa Ruppert, Peter Ibsen, and its producer Pdogg. “Spring Day” is the longest-charting song on Melon’s digital chart to date.
Speaking about the concept and meaning behind “Spring Day” during a V Live broadcast, RM stated that he wrote the lyrics when thinking of his middle and high-school mates, from whom he hadn’t heard in a long time. RM compared the song’s mood to that of the band’s 2015 singles, “I Need U” and “Run”. Lyrically, the song uses a seasonal metaphor to compare the longing and separation from loved ones to “internal winter.”
“It is safe to say that this is BTS’ best live performance EVER! Well, until they top it with another, which is to be expected without a doubt. Using a live band for this ‘Dynamite’, ‘Save Me’ and ‘Spring Day’ performance was the best decision ever. It gave ARMY the chance to appreciate and enjoy all the wonderful vocals that all BTS members posses.
