BTS’ “Life Goes On” Music Video Surpassed 300 Million Views

BTS’ “Life Goes On” Music Video Surpassed 300 Million views on YouTube.

Following the postponement of their Map of the Soul Tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BTS started working on a new album. The group’s label Big Hit Entertainmwnt officially announced “BE” on September 27, 2020. They stated  via press that the album “imparts a message of healing to the world by declaring, ‘Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on'”. “Life Goes On” was announced as the album’s lead single on October 30.

WATCH BTS Perform “Life Goes On” at The ’35th Golden Disk Awards’ (GDA 2021)

BTS won four Awards at this year’s 35th Golden Disk Awards (GDA 2021) and gave an outstanding performance of their chart topping song “Life Goes On”. The most special moment was that Suga was able to perform, after a very long time due to his shoulder surgery that he had been recovering from. Finally, the members were all together, OT7! The performance was a walk down memory lane as each member was singing next to a replica ‘structure’ of the various eras (albums) that they have had since debut. “Life Goes On” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts making it their 3rd #1 on the charts and 1st ever non English song to debut at #1.

WATCH BTS Perform “Life Goes On” at The 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon in Daegu

BTS were confirmed to perform at the SBS Gayo Festival last month and they did not dissapoint during their performance on 25th December. BTS’ Performance of “Life Goes On” was one of the highlights of the SBS Festival. Their outfits, their voices, their set, were just perfect, the song has been a soothing and comforting gift that the world needs right now.
