“Film Out,” was co-written by BTS’ member Jungkook and the lead vocalist of Japanese rock band Back Number’s Iyori Shimizu. The song debuted at #81 on Billboard Hot 100, #5 on Billboard Global 200 and #3 on Billboard Global 200 Excluding U.S. BTS have now charted songs in 3 different languages (Korean, English and Japanese) in all major Billboard Charts.

BTS’ Japanese Single “Film Out” Makes its Debut on Billboard Hot 100 Chart This Week

BTS’ Japanese single “Film Out” Debuts at #81 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100! BTS has now entered the chart with three different languages.

“Film Out,” co-written by BTS’ member Jungkook and the lead vocalist of Japanese rock band Back Number’s Iyori Shimizu. The song will be included on the group’s Japanese compilation album, “BTS, The Best,” due out on June. “Film Out” was announced by BTS on February 16, 2021, as the ending theme for Signal the Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit (2021)

BTS’ “Film Out” Surpasses 70 Million Views With 7 Million Likes

BTS’ “Film Out” Surpassed 70 Million Views on YouTube With 7 Million Likes and 2.1 million comments

“Film Out” was written by BTS’ Jungkook in collaboration with the lead vocalist of Japanese rock power trio Back Number, Iyori Shimizu, and the track’s producer UTA. The song was revealed to be the opening track on BTS’ upcoming Japanese-language compilation album, BTS, the Best, slated for release in June 2021. The single debuted at number one on the daily ranking of Oricon’s Daily Digital Singles Chart with 23,344 downloads. It entered at number one on the Weekly Digital Singles Chart, selling 32,947 downloads in its opening week with three days of tracking.
