The song had made history on the #HotTrendingSongs chart as it started breaking records even before it was released. The song now becomes the fastest Korean OST to achieve that milestione on Shazam. Shazam connects more than 1 billion people. The song also recently surpassed 60,000,000 streams on Spotify.

BTS’ V Earns His First Career Solo Entry On Billboard Hot 100 With “Christmas Tree”

“V’s OST “Christmas Tree” started breaking records even before it was released on 24th December 2021! Soon after release it occupied the top 2 positions on the US iTunes garnering 50 #1’s on iTunes within 2 hours of release! ‘Christmas Tree’ also became the top-selling Korean solo song on US Amazon’s Best Selling Songs of 2021, entering at number 97 on the chart. It is also the only Korean solo song on the list.  On this week’s Billboard Hot 100 “Christmas Tree” debuted at #79 on the chart giving V his first solo song entry on the chart. With “Christmas Tree”, V has now released three K-drama OSTs so far. “BTS V’s OST “Christmas Tree” video has been released. “Our Beloved Summer” is an ongoing South Korean romantic comedy television series directed by Kim Yoon-jin with screenplay by Lee Na-eun, starring Choi Woo-shik, Kim Da-mi, Kim Sung-cheol and Roh Jeong-eui The series is a coming-of-age story about a couple who has broken up but are forced to come together again when a documentary they shot in high school goes viral.
