Paulo Coelho Author Of The Best Selling Novel, “The Alchemist” Set To Participate In A BTS Centered Global Conference To Be Held at Hankuk University in Seoul, South Korea

“Paulo Coelho confirmed that he will be participating In “The 3rd BTS Global Interdisciplinary Conference” at Hankuk University in Seoul, South Korea. He wrote in a tweet, “My honor,” to a message inviting him to the event, part of which was “I’m Jiyoung Lee, member of the BTS ARMY academic group.I am writing to see if we can have the honor of inviting you as a keynote speaker to The 3rd BTS Interdisciplinary Conference in Seoul, Korea on July 14/16, 2022.” Paulo Coelho de Souza  is a Brazilian lyricist and novelist, best known for his famous novel The Alchemist. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters.

His novel The Alchemist has sold more than 150 million copies worldwide and is the all-time best-selling book by a Brazilian writer. He influenced Brazilian rock music through his partnership with the musician Raul Seixas. Paulo Coelho is no stranger to BTS as he has always showed support and admiration for BTS’ Jin, SUGA, RM, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.

Back in May 2021 he revealed that he had lost many followers after he showeed his support to BTS and congratulating them for their win. He said that he admired BTS because of the many difficult moments and prejudices that they have had to endure. He wrote on his Twitter account, “Iam losing a lot of followers because I posted a tweet congratulating @BTS_twt but this is the price to pay when you support people you admire. The boys overcame so many difficult moments, prejudices, etc.andTHEY WON!!!

According to their website “The third BTS Global Interdisciplinary Conference will be held on 14th-16th July 2022 at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, Korea. The theme of the conference is “The Post-Pandemic Era, Welcome to the New Humanity.” The COVID-19 pandemic has been a disruptive force that left us heartbroken and uncertain, feeling like the world had stopped.”
