To Celebrate BTS SUGA’s Upcoming Birthday, Fans Will Be Donating To An Organization Providing Education & Music Therapy to Children With Chronic Conditions

“ARMYs have already started on projects to celebrate BTS’ second eldest member, rapper and amazing producer, SUGA. SUGA’s large fanbases “ddaenglifeunite” and “SugaWWUnion” together have come up with a project to donate to the amazing Children’s Music Fund” which is  a non profit organization providing musical instruments and music therapy to children with life altering or chronic conditions. The organization caters to young children providing musical instruments and music therapy for children with chronic illnesses/conditions

Under the hashtag “DreamWithYoongi” the fans will be donating to the “Children’s Music Fund” organization

SUGA has never shied away from speaking about difficult issues like mental health, social anxiety and even OCD. His lyrics are always advocating for self acceptance, love and forging ahead no matter what.

In his intro song, “Never Mind” he sings,

We are still young and immature, don’t even worry about it
Moss surely grows on a stone that doesn’t roll
If you can’t return, go straight through your mistakes and forget them all
Never mind
It’s not easy but engrave it onto your chest
If you feel like you’re going to crash then accelerate more…”

SUGA has always donated his time and finances to several charities, before debut and even after debuting in BTS. He hand wrote 300+ letters and prepared gifts for fans that came to see him on his birthday, he promised he would give meat to the less privileged after debuting while still a trainee, he did that and gave the meat to charity.

Over the years he has continued to give to the less fortunate every time he celebrates his birthday or even with no special occasion.

in 2019 #DreamWithYoongi projects, fans wrote letters that were to be sent and read for children at the hospital

It is always amazing to see the idol influence his fans to give freely and happily to those in need!
