BTS’ Jung Kook Earns His First Solo Career Hit On Billboard Hot 100, Makes History On Both Billboard Global Excl. US & Digital Song Sales Charts

“Jung Kook’s “Stay Alive” produced by SUGA debuted at #95 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart. Jungkook is the “First Korean Male Artist” to chart at Billboard Hot 100 with his debut solo work. He becomes the fourth member of BTS to earn a solo entry on the chart, joining j-hope “Chicken Noodle Soup” ft. Becky G, AgustD “Daechwita”, SUGA x Juice WRLD “Girl of My Dreams” and V “Christmas Tree.”

Jungkook’s “Stay Alive (Prod. Suga of BTS)” also debuted at #6 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart. With just 1 version, no radio play, no promotion, new Billboard rules, no instrumental, an OST for a webtoon, Jung Kook’s influence and power of his vocals is shining for the world to see.

“Stay Alive” also debuted at #8 on this week’s Billboard Global 200 Excl. US singles chart and is the first song by a Korean Male Soloist to enter the Top 10. It marks Jung Kook’s first solo top 10 hit on the chart and the highest debut entry by a Korean Male Soloist on the chart. US chart
