A Recap Of BTS’ Very First Performance At The AMAs In 2017 & Why They’re Still Making History in 2021

“The American Music Awards (AMAs) are in just a few hours and BTS will be making history again. The members Jin, SUGA, RM, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook will be performing at the event after four years. They were the first ever Korean artist to perform at the awards and they debuted their song “DNA” during the event. Fast foward to 2021 and they will be performing not one but two songs “My Universe” with Coldplay and “Butter” remix which they were to perform with Megan Thee Stallion who unfortunately will not make it.

They also have another history making moment where they are the first Asian act to be nominated in the highly competitive “Artist of the Year” category. BTS have come along way to becoming the biggest band in the world and ARMY is proud of them.
