“Producer SUGA will be unveiled once again as the BTS main rapper, composer and producer will be producing the remix to their collaborative song “My Universe.” On their Twitter handle Coldplay announced that “My Universe SUGA’s remix will be released today 4pm BST and 8am Pacific Time” SUGA recently produced Japanise artist’s song “You” and he earlier produces the latest version of Samsung’s “Over the Horizon” ringtone. SUGA has produced some of the greatest hits for artists like IU, Heize, Suran, Epik High, Halsey among many others. He produced his mixtape D-2 which has some of his greatest hits. He has also produced and written lyrics for a variety of tracks on all of BTS’ albums.
“My Universe” debuted at #1 on Billboard Hot 100, was performed during the Global Citizen Live event and has been charting in various music streaming sites in different countries.
SUGA is fully responsible for writing, composing, arranging, mixing and mastering his material. Over 100 registered songs are credited to him by the Korea Music Copyright Association. He is a pianist, and produces hip hop and R&B music. His lyrics involve themes that are “full of dreams and hope,” conceived with the intent of his music becoming “many people’s strength.
