The song debuted at #1 on “Billboard Hot 100” and both the “Billboard Global 200” and “Billboard Global Excl. U.S.” charts. It also took the first position on the “Digital Song Sales Chart”
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
Coldplay and BTS’ “My Universe” also takes No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, which rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories. The single has achieved 95.4 million streams and 142,400 downloads worldwide between September 24 and 30, with 84.4 million streams and 90,500 downloads recorded outside the U.S.
It is BTS’s sixth No. 1 on the Global 200 and fifth on the Global Excl. U.S., while it is Coldplay’s first No. 1 on both charts
The song enters the “Digital Song Sales” chart (which measures digital sales in the United States) at No. 1 as well, marking BTS’s ninth No. 1 and extending their record for the group with the most No. 1s on the chart. The song debuted at the top of the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts and came in at No. 21 on the Streaming Songs chart, No. 23 on Alternative Airplay, No. 29 on Adult Pop Airplay, and No. 33 on Pop Airplay.
