Mega Stars BTS are set to perform during the upcoming “Global Citizen Live” special event which is a 24-hour event scheduled for 25th September 2021. The event will be broadcast live from various cities across six continents that includes, Sydney, Lagos, Rio, London, Seoul, Los Angeles, New York City, and Paris. The event is meant to raise awareness and get donor funds that will go a long way in fighting against poverty, climate change, and international vaccine inequity.

The list of performers include BTS, Adam Lambert, Alessia Cara, Andrea Bocelli, Angélique Kidjo, Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, Camila Cabello, Christine and the Queens, Coldplay, Davido, Demi Lovato, DJ Snake, Doja Cat, Duran Duran, Ed Sheeran, Femi Kuti, Green Day, H.E.R., Hugh Jackman & Deborra-lee Furness, Keith Urban, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Lorde, Metallica, Rag’n’Bone Man, Ricky Martin, Shawn Mendes, The Lumineers, The Weeknd, Tiwa Savage, Usher and more to be announced in coming weeks. More artists will be announced on August 6.
The event will feature performances from all over the world, including: Lagos, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, and Sydney. Additional locations and event-specific details will be announced in the weeks ahead, in accordance with local health and safety restrictions.
Global Citizen Live is part of Global Citizen’s 2021 global campaign, a Recovery Plan for the World. The Recovery Plan focuses on five key objectives: ending COVID-19 for all, ending the hunger crisis, resuming learning for all, protecting the planet, and advancing equity for all.
