BTS’ “Butter” Maintains #1 Position On Billboard Hot 100 Chart For Its 7th Consecutive Week!

“7th Consecutive Week at #1! BTS’ “Butter” is officially on top of the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart. “Butter” released on 21st May has been on a winning streak on the Hot 100. It debuted at #1 and has retained that spot for the seventh time in a row! Earning BTS 12 Billboard Hot 100 #1 records!

According to Billboard, BTS’ “Butter” drew 10.8 million U.S. streams and sold 108,800 downloads in the week ending July 8, it said. The song also attracted 29.1 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week.

“Butter” is now the BTS song with the longest run atop the Billboard Hot 100 Chart bringing their total to an incredible 12 Billboard Hot 100 #1 records! “Butter” takee the lead with 7, “Dynamite” comes in second with 3, and “Life Goes On” and “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” tie last with one #each

It marked the longest No. 1 streak achieved by a group since 1995, when “One Sweet Day,” a song by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey and R&B group Boyz II Men, spent 16 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.

BTS released a single CD “Butter” containing the global summer song ‘Butter’ and a new track “Permission to Dance” on the 9th July 2021 concurrently with their new song’s “Permission to Dance” music video

“Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo, debuted at #1 on the Hot 100 remaining for a 2021 record breaking 8 straight weeks on the chart, “Butter” is now so far the only second song with 7 straight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS’ “Butter” was on a mission to break all of “Dynamite’s” records as their second English song broke the record for most views at a premier with 3.9 concurrent viewers and most viewed in its first 24 hours with 108.2 million views on YouTube.

“Butter” broke five guiness records and has truly shown its dominance on the charts! The song is only the 8th song in history tp spend 7 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 Chart!

BTS’ “Butter” also maintained the top spot on the ‘Digital Song Sales’ chart for 7 consecutive weeks since the first week of entry. “Butter” is also this week’s top selling song.
