BTS j-hope ft. Becky G’s “Chicken Noodle Soup” Surpassed 100 Million Streams

j-hope’s ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ ft. Becky G, released on September 17, 2019, surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify

j-hope and Becky G met at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in May, with j-hope previously saying that he would like to collaborate with her. Becky G and J-Hope contributed to writing the trilingual (Korean, Spanish and English) lyrics, which center around one’s identity and paying respect to their roots.

Fans around the world greatly celebrated j-hope’s great achievement of this record by trending , “CONGRATULATIONS J-HOPE” together with his names.

Chicken Noodle Soup’ broke many records on international music charts as it charted at #81 on the US Billboard Hot 100. j-hope became the second Korean solo artist to enter the US, UK, and Canada main single charts simultaneously after Psy.

The music video was shot in Los Angeles and features over 50 dancers of different nationalities with some having solo center stage dances and all dancers were all credited at the end of the video

On the US iTunes single chart, it went straight to number one in an hour and a half after its release, setting the first-shortest record for a Korean solo artist

“Chicken Noodle Soup” was performed on stage for the first time  during ‘BTS 2021 Muster Sowoozoo’ on 14th June, where all the members had solo verses and all danced the choregraphy at the end. It was a perfect was for BTS to celebrate their 8th anniversary since debut.
