British Rock Band Coldplay’s Vocalist Chris Martin Reacts to BTS’ Latest Single “Butter”

BTS have been receiving a lot of love for their song “Butter” the song started breaking records from the moment it was released into the world almost four million watched it being premiered and then 108 million people viewed it in just 24 hours of release. BTS have been congratulated by high level leaders, celebrities and personalities.

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin just posted a list of recommended songs that their fans should listen to and BTS’ butter was on the list! In a short letter thanking his fans for their support of their latest song, Chris Martin, lead singer in Coldplay wrote about the films, books and songs that he has found helpful and wonderful, BTS’ “Butter” was on the list.

Coldplay have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world’s best-selling music artists. They have won numerous awards throughout their career, including nine Brit Awards, seven MTV Video Music Awards, eight MTV Europe Music Awards and seven Grammy Awards from 35 nominations.

The band’s first three albums — Parachutes (2000), A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), and X&Y (2005) — are among the best-selling albums in UK chart history. In December 2009, Rolling Stone readers voted the group the fourth-best artist of the 2000s,  and Q magazine included the group in their Artists of the Century list.

BTS have always been fans of Coldplay and V even stated that it would be his dream to collaborate with them. RM and j-hope even attended one of their concerts.
