BTS’ j-hope extends his lead as the most followed korean soloist and is now the FIRST AND ONLY one to reach 6 MILLION followers on Spotify!

j-hope is the 5th most followed korean act on Spotify as he’s also on the TOP 200 most followed artists WORLDWIDE on the platform. This is very impressive as his last release there was almost 2 years ago!

j-hope is the fastest k-soloist to have 6M followers in spotify history, gaining 1 MILLION in ONLY 112 DAYS with an average of 8.9K followers A DAY!!. He is the fifth most followed Korean Artist on the biggest streaming site, Spotify. #1.BTS(32.36M), #2.Blackpink (21.52M), #3.TWICE (8.88M), #4.EXO (7.74M) and #5.j-hope (6.0M)

j-hope has been on a steady and consistent growth on Spotify. He became the first Korean soloist to reach 6M followers on spotify. He also got first 2M, 3M, 4M & 5M taking and keeping the crown of being the most followed k-solo artist.

j-hope, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, dancer, and record producer in the world renowned band BTS. j-hope released his first solo mixtape, Hope World worldwide on March 1, 2018. When he released “Chicken Noodle Soup” featuring Becky G he became the first BTS member with a Hot 100 hit under his own name.

Fun fact:  As a trainee, J-Hope was featured as a rapper in Jo Kwon’s song “Animal”, which was released in 2012. For the three-year anniversary of his mixtape, j-hope released a full, three-minute long version of its closing track “Blue Side (Outro)” on March 1, 2021—it was uploaded to the BTS Soundcloud page for free.
