BTS’ Japanese Single “Film Out” Makes its Debut on Billboard Hot 100 Chart This Week

BTS’ Japanese single “Film Out” Debuts at #81 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100! BTS has now entered the chart with three different languages.

“Film Out,” co-written by BTS’ member Jungkook and the lead vocalist of Japanese rock band Back Number’s Iyori Shimizu. The song will be included on the group’s Japanese compilation album, “BTS, The Best,” due out on June. “Film Out” was announced by BTS on February 16, 2021, as the ending theme for Signal the Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit (2021)

The song had great debuts on various Japanese Charts, it debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily digital singles chart in Japan, with 23,344 downloads and other other music platforms like Recochoku, iTunes, LINE Music and Oricon Digital Singles.

The single also reached the top of major Japanese streaming sites, such as Line Music, AWA and mora
“Film Out” was released last Friday 1st April, with its music video also uploaded on YouTube the same day. It garnered 29.38 million views in the first 24 hours, a record for a BTS song in Japanese.
