To Celebrate the 3rd anniversary of “Euphoria,” ARMY under @comma_bts Have Named a Purple Star in Virgo (Jungkook’s zodiac constellation) after BTS’ Jungkook. BTS Jungkook’s B-side solo song “Euphoria” has been a success since its release. This masterwork is the most streamed BTS solo song with over 210M streams on Spotify, the most-streamed solo song by a male idol and 3rd most-streamed solo song by a Korean artist. It was #5 on bubbling under Hot 100, the highest-charting BTS solo song from the ‘Love Yourself’ era. “Euphoria” has also spent 1 full year on the World Digital Song Sales chart. It’s the longest-charting solo by a K-Pop Idol on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart with 57 weeks.

“Euphoria” was recently announced to have sold over 500,000 units in the United States, becoming the first K-pop male idol’s solo song and the first BTS solo song to achieve this feat. “Euphoria” is now officially the best-selling K-pop male idol’s solo song and BTS solo song in the United States. With 500,000 units sold in the U.S., ‘Euphoria’ is now eligible for the Gold certificate by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It is the first K-pop male idol solo song and the first BTS solo song to achieve this feat.

During the interview about her career in K-pop, Melanie revealed, “It’s not very K-pop sound. In fact, the song I did for them was originally supposed to be for Justin Bieber,” however, “I don’t know if it was his manager or him, but someone shut it down. And I’m so happy that it got shut down because then it went on to become a BTS single.”
