BTS’ “Life Goes On” Music Video Surpassed 300 Million views on YouTube.

Following the postponement of their Map of the Soul Tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BTS started working on a new album. The group’s label Big Hit Entertainmwnt officially announced “BE” on September 27, 2020. They stated  via press that the album “imparts a message of healing to the world by declaring, ‘Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on'”. “Life Goes On” was announced as the album’s lead single on October 30.

BTS performed “Life Goes On” and “Dynamite” for the first time at the American Music Awards, on November 22, 2020. The next day, they performed the song on Good Morning America and on The Late Late Show with James Corden on November 24.

On December 5, BTS performed “Black Swan”, “On”, “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On” at the Melon Music Awards. On December 6, they performed “On”, “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On” at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. During the performance of “Life Goes On”, the members were joined by a hologram of Suga, as he was recovering from a shoulder surgery.

This year they performed “Life Goes On” during their MTV Unplugged together with “Dynamite” “Telepathy,” “Blue & Grey,” and Cold Play’s cover of  “Fix You”
