WATCH BTS Perform “Fix You” (Coldplay Cover) on MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS Live

BTS performed “Fix You” (Coldplay Cover) on ‘MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS.’ This was the biggest surprise of all the performances. BTS’ showed their range of artistry and musical abilities in this performance. BTS have never stuck with just one genre of music, they are known to shift and hit the boundaries of musical notes and beats. BTS have over the years indulged in different styles of music, they started with old-school hip hop, went on to R&B, rock, orchestral strings and EDM,  moombahton, neo soul, gospel, future bass, Latin pop,  jazz hip hop, emo rap, rap rock, Afro pop, nu-disco, funk, trap, pop rock and pop rap.

“We suspect you didn’t see this coming, but we prepared a surprise cover performance of Cold Play’s “Fix You” last year we all went through difficult times and this song gave us comfort, so we wanted to prepare this cover to comfort you as well. It’s one of our favorites so we had fun while preparing it” Jimin

BTS have also done several covers of different artists from both their home country to international artists. This cover of “Fix You” is by far the best cover they have done and it is resonating to so many people who have listened to it. Even the band “Cold Play” the original artists of the song commented on the performance in Korean saying beautiful. This song showcased the vocal ranges of all the members, each melody was perfect, the different harmonizing were mesmerizing and heart melting and tear jerking… You could hear each individual in their harmonies, J-hope & V, Jimin & RM, Jin & Suga, Jungkook & RM, Jimin & J-Hope, Jin& RM and V & Suga, perfect combinations, perfect synergy, perfect vocals.
