BTS V’s “Inner Child” Rises To #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart As It Celebrates One Year Since Release

BTS’ V incredible song “Inner Child” celebrated its one year anniversary yesterday (21st February) from their chart-topping album “Map Of The Soul: 7” which also celebrated its one-year anniversary. “Inner Child” claimed the #1 spot on the all-genre US iTunes sales Chart. V performed the song for the very first time during the “Map Of The Soul ON:E” online concert and when asked about it, he said that the most memorable stage of “Map Of The Soul ON:E” online show was during his Inner Child performance, adding that,

“I got very emotional seeing ARMY during my “Inner Child” performance and it made me miss them even more.”

“Inner Child” is a song close to BTS V’s heart because it’s a song about him accepting and embracing his past self with a encouraging message for everyone to love their true self wherever they are in life.

“Inner Child is the first of my personal tracks that is bright. It’s about me today, to become myself, talking to the boy who had many struggles at the time.” V

The song debuted at #51 on Global Spotify chart, #9 on the Digital Song sales and peaked at #2 on the World Digital song sales chart, It has crossed over 73M streams on Spotify.
