
Worldwide superstars BTS will perform at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). Entertainment and lifestyle company CJ ENM announced the news. This will be BTS’s second stage to perform at after their “BE (Deluxe Edition)” Album release on 20th November, since they will have already performed at the 2020 American Music Awards (AMA) on 22nd November. The 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony, organized by CJ E&M is the 22nd in the show’s history and will be broadcast live on December 6 in South Korea with the theme, “NEW-TOPIA”. The ceremony will be held with no live audience due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Official voting for the MAMA Awards opened on 29th October 2020 and will continue until midnight on 5th December 2020, KST.
BTS have also been nominated for five awards; ‘Artist Of The Year’, ‘Song Of The Year with “Dynamite,” ‘Worldwide Fans’ Choice’, ‘Best Male Group’ and ‘Best Dance Performance Male Group for “Dynamite.”’ BTS have already performed at two shows this year, first at the MTV VMAs’ (August) where they won; ‘Best Group’, ‘Best Choreography (ON)’, ‘Best K-Pop’ and ‘Best Pop for the “On” music video’. They also performed at the Billboard Music Awards (October), where they took won ‘Top Social Artist’, which was their 4th win. Voting is still ongoing, you can vote through their Website.
